8:30-10:00	Mathematics Teacher - Shortage, Recruitment Efforts & Accelerated Paths toward Certification (Representatives of each institution share current work & plans for the future.)
10:00-10:30	BREAK
10:30-11:45	Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education -current efforts to address the mathematics teacher shortages (Mike Lucas, Teacher Education, MDESE and Janet Goeller, Teacher Recruitment & Retention, MDESE)
12:00-1:00	LUNCH
1:00- 1:45	Recruiting teachers of Mathematics (Kellye Crockett & Linda Kaiser)
2:00-3:00	Possible collaboration among institutions & Next steps (Ira Papick & Barbara Reys)

Our goals for the meeting are to:

provide information about the (CM)² project.
have participants share current efforts to recruit middle/secondary mathematics teachers and provide post-bac certification for people interested in becoming mathematics teachers.
learn about MDESE initiatives related to alternative routes to certification, and incentives for recruitment and retention of teachers. explore collaborative efforts to facilitate post-bac certification, including recruitment efforts.
