Conference goals

  1. Update participants regarding ongoing work of the Connecting Middle and College Mathematics (CM)2 Project.
  2. Provide information about mathematics teacher supply and demand, including the number of teachers certified in Missouri.
  3. Provide a forum for participants to share ongoing activities at their institutions and engage participants in discussions about collaborating on new initiatives regarding recruitment, retention and alternative certification of mathematics teachers.
  4. Learn about two DESE activities regarding teacher recruitment and retention and professional development of interest to mathematics education.
